Why our Bio-Diesel?
Normal crude diesel i.e., non distilled diesel is available in the market, which leads to filter choking problems in vehicles. Distilled Bio-diesel is completely problem free smooth green fuel. Bio-diesel has ensured the innovation without foreign technical assistance. Bio-diesel has ensured that it is derived from non-edible oils, generally offers its customers better quality and lower cost than normal diesel. Bio-diesel is used in all diesel powered engines without any modification and thus it is mainly made from volatile oils which are technically converted to biodiesel and used in diesel engines. Bio-diesel can be fully used in the engine and can also be mixed with petroleum diesel. It increases the life of the engine as the engine becomes very smooth due to high lubricity. The use of bio-diesel also reduces noise from engine. Recently all government petroleum companies have started blending of bio-diesel and have started replacing 5 % of normal diesel with biodiesel.

- Benefit to the environment: The amount of carbon and sulfur in biodiesel is negligible. Compared to petroleum diesel, biodiesel reduces emissions by 70 % and thus helps in reducing air pollution.
Benefits to consumers
- Safe to use: Biodiesel is non-flammable and has a flash point of approximately 1300 C. Whereas petroleum diesel is highly flammable with a flash point of around 600 C.
- Improved Mileage: Biodiesel has high oxygen content which helps in complete burning of the fuel, resulting in increased mileage.
- Economical: Biodiesel is cheaper than petroleum diesel.
- GST Benefits: Biodiesel comes under the purview of 12% GST. Commercial users can get heavy benefit from its purchase, where as it is currently not available in case of petroleum diesel.
